Zeta Beta Tau (ZBT)

  1. 1973 - 1995: 2308 Chew Street
  2. 2017 - present: 2228 Gordon Street (rechartered 2015)

The Alpha Nu chapter of Zeta Beta Tau (ZBT) was chartered at Muhlenberg in 1970. While the national organization of Phi Epsilon Pi (PEP) was absorbed into the national organization of Zeta Beta Tau in 1961, PEP did not become ZBT at Muhlenberg until 1970. ZBT first appears in the Ciarla in 1973, pictured in front of the 2308 Chew Street house.

This house, located on the upper section of the present-day Village parking lot (directly to the right of the ATO house) was built specially for Phi Epsilon Pi (PEP) and completed in 1960. ZBT continued to reside in this house until June 1995 when their charter was revoked for possible drug use. The house was demolished shortly thereafter, during the winter of 1995-96, cited as a “health and safety hazard.”

ZBT rechartered at Muhlenberg in 2015 and has resided at 2228 Gordon Street since 2017.
