December 5, 1914 - 1919: Alpha Sigma Colony (1914-1918) / Phi Kappa Tau (ΦKT)

Phi Kappa Tau began at Muhlenberg College as the Alpha Sigma Colony, founded in 1914. At the beginning of the 1914 schoolyear, early members of Alpha Sigma/PKT lived briefly at 930 Hamilton Street before moving into this 133 N. 15th Street house on December 5, 1914. This is, therefore, the first official residence of the Eta Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau.
